These are just some of the ideas the AADES CoP: Designing Effective Online Learning will explore.

If you are a practicing teachers in distance education or online learning and you are interested in exploring how to make our online learning experiences for students even better and you are:

Dedicated to ensuring that every student in every class is catered for.
Enthusiastic about being part of a group of teachers, who will meet regularly to share, collaborate, and learn.
Keen to share their learning and resources to the wider AADES community both online and in person.

How will the group work?

There will be an initial face to face meeting in November of the CoP members to begin the sharing, learning and collaboration process. (AADES will fund travel and accommodation costs for this meeting).
The CoP will meet regularly online to further their work following the initial meeting.
There is an expectation that the CoP will share their journey and learnings with the wider AADES.
The CoP will be facilitated by a member of the AADES Council.

A community of practice is united by the learning value members find in their interactions. They may perform tasks together, but these tasks do not define the community. It is the ongoing learning that sustains their mutual commitment. Expressions of interest to be part of the AADES Designing Effective Online Learning Communities of Practice are now open.

Complete and submit the expression of interest form by September 18^th

Once your EOI has been received your Principal will be sent an email to endorse your participation in the CoP.

The final CoP group will be announced via the AADES website on September 27^th
