Enhancing Online Lesson Delivery Through Reflective Practice with the Quality Live Lesson Framework

The Quality Live Lesson Framework is a reflection tool that supports the improvement of real-time online lesson delivery through video  analysis. Designed by distance education teachers at Finigan SDE for distance  education, the framework guides teachers to observe and evaluate their own  recorded lessons across three key domains: Body Language, Voice, and  Cognitive Load.    Each domain includes five features, and each feature is broken down into  observable elements, ordered from least to most effective practice. Teachers  watch their recorded lesson and self-assess which element best represents  their practice within each feature.    The framework encourages teachers to make small, deliberate adjustments to  improve the quality of their live lessons, supporting greater student  engagement and improved learning outcomes.
